Kerr County voters have no need to worry if they have not received their voter registration cards in the mail –- they can still participate in early, in-person voting, which started today, Tuesday, Feb. 17.

No card? No problem

“If you have not received your voter registration card, it will not impact your ability to vote,” said Kerr County Tax Assessor-Collector and Voter Registrar Bob Reeves. “You do not need to present your card at the polls. Just be sure to bring your driver’s license or other identification to your polling location.”

The delay in the mailing of the cards this year was due to legal challenges of the redistricted Congressional maps and the processing of the approvals by Texas Secretary of State Jane Nelson’s office.

Early voting dates, times

Early voting is under way and those wishing to cast ballots in the March 2026 Republican Primary or Democratic Primary in Kerr County have two locations they may do so at the:

  • Hill Country Youth Event Center, located at 3785 TX 27 in Kerrville, or

  • West Kerr County Courthouse Annex, located at 510 College Street in Ingram.

Operating hours of both early, in-person polling locations are as follows:

  • Feb. 17-20  (Tuesday through Friday) – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Feb. 21 (Saturday) – 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Feb. 22 (Sunday) – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Feb. 23-27 (Monday through Friday) – 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
