Kerr Veterans Service Office announces closure Feb. 16-20

The Kerr County Veterans Service Office (VSO) will be temporarily closed next week.

Along with most Kerr County, Texas, offices, the VSO, will be closed Monday, Feb. 16, in observance of the Presidents Day holiday.

Then, the VSO will continue to be closed from Tuesday through Thursday, Feb. 17-19. It is regularly closed on Fridays, and will be so again on Friday, Feb. 20.

“Our office appreciates the understanding of our local veteran community,” said Kerr County Veterans Service Officer Jenna Sanchez. “I assure you that we remain committed to supporting our veterans and their families.”

As such, veterans and their families who need to reach the office while it is closed may still do so either by

Messages will be responded to in the order in which they are received.

Additionally, those who have documents they need to submit may place them in the locked dropbox located near the blue bench at the entrance of the Allie Burton Annex, 550 Earl Garrett Street in Kerrville.

Normal operations are expected to resume on Monday, Feb. 23.
