Kerr County VSO, AACOG giving away free box fans to vets, senior citizens

The Kerr County Veterans Service Office, in partnership with the Alamo Area Council of Governments, is providing free box fans to older adults in our community to help them stay cool and comfortable during these “dog days” of summer.

Those eligible to receive a free box fan are Kerr County-area veterans and local residents aged 60 years or older.

Distribution is on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

To get a fan, contact the Kerr County Veterans Service Office at 830-792-2203 as soon as possible.

“The Kerr County Veterans Service Office is proud to once again partner with AACOG to help connect our residents with resources that can help them be more comfortable during these sweltering summer months,” said Kerr County Veterans Service Officer Jenna Sanchez.

The Kerr County Veterans Service Offices operates Mondays through Thursdays and is closed on Fridays.
